  2. Squishy_Ho on January 27, 2008 at 12:45 pm

i can’t imagine how impressive that must be when seen from close. this is freakin awesome! this is the kind of artwork that makes me drool for the reason that you need a shitload of patience to do it. i mean, everyone can paint something and try and sell it. but to be able to cut every piece and stick everything together, it’s artwork, yes, but hell does it need time and patience.

seriously, he has all my respect. thanks for sharing mike. hope i can get to see that near me too.

  3. CaiCai718 on January 27, 2008 at 10:55 am

    That is gorgeous :]
This really makes me want to go to an art exhibit again…

    P.S.
Not sure if I’ll do this right…but I saw this, and decided to share.

  4. Katahreena on January 26, 2008 at 8:45 pm

Those pieces are really amazing. It must have taken a lot of time and effort. I wish I had the patience and skill to do something like that.

  5. ColorScheming on January 26, 2008 at 5:15 pm

Amazing, thats simliar to an email i recieved with a guy doing the same type of art in a sense but he used normal white printing paper, and made skeltons look like it was coming out of a body, and spiders chasing butterflies and the hogwarts castle from harry potter. It was sick. I want to go to some art exhibits and museums. You lucky bastard, enjoy every minute of it🙂

  6. outlawserenade on January 25, 2008 at 11:46 am

meh. Now I know why I’d never be nor will I attempt to venture to fine-artistry. I don’t have the patience. >.<

Very beautiful installations! It reminds me Jackie Chan Rush Hour too😀 I’ve never seen any installations in reality. What you’ve shown is a thrilling sight . Thanx for sharing so interesting things with us . And suddenly an idea came into my head : what if you and Chester made a little show and sang to the concert grand piano, sure, you’re playing ^_^

  15. Ezza on January 24, 2008 at 10:48 pm

when i saw the first 2 pics i had this image of jackie chan in rush hour….and i have to say after watching the new vid on the widget i never knew that chester was so accident prone brakes his arm in aus and not even three week later he’s snaped him self in the face with a racket and needs stiches as my music teacher said sport and music don’t mix🙂

Hello, Hope this day has brought to you pure contentment, not to much chaos , yeah! one can only hope given your line of profession. Wow how amazing is the fine contemporary Chinese art , of Lu Shengzhong. I love all his work but the one that stood out to me more so than others was, Human Brick 1, done in 2004. To me this symbolizes throughout life embrace the bad no matter how heavy laden you may feel, in hope of tomorrow for with the dawn commences a new day ( beginning ) may good luck follow up the building of life. LOL again this the way I read into it, what do you think?. Thanx again for sharing of yourself to all your fans we truly appreciate it God bless.

  17. kUmiKo on January 24, 2008 at 10:07 pm

    it totally art!!!! so beautiful!!!!
we japanese are also familiar with paper art (probably ‘cuz it came from China).
the first pic reminds me of SHENBA ZURU (which means “thousand of crene”).
we make a lotta paper cranes and connect them on one line.
we still believe that it brings us a victory(so we often make it at having a sport game).

  18. shinoda_me on January 24, 2008 at 8:19 pm

honestly, ive never seen anything like this before
i expected to see “some” paper work but HELL!

  19. ShadowerLiltani on January 24, 2008 at 5:40 pm

I’ve seen paper sculptures before, we did a project with cutting up books in my 3Dimensional Design class, and some of the works I saw were just as huge and as beautiful. You really have to appreciate the time, thought and energy that goes into art like this.

Dear Prudence, won’t you come out to play
Dear Prudence, greet the brand new day
The sun is up, the sky is blue
It’s beautiful and so are you
Dear Prudence won’t you come out to play?

Dear Prudence open up your eyes
Dear Prudence see the sunny skies
The wind is low the birds will sing
That you are part of everything
Dear Prudence won’t you open up your eyes?

    Look around round
    Look around round round
    Look around

Dear Prudence let me see you smile
Dear Prudence like a little child
The clouds will be a daisy chain
So let me see you smile again
Dear Prudence won’t you let me see you smile?

  33. MICHELLEPINHEIRO on January 24, 2008 at 12:31 pm

    I´LL WRITE HOME EVERYDAY
AND I´LL SEND ALL MY LOVING TO YOU
    I´LL PRETEND THAT I´M KISSING
    THE LIPS I´M MISSING
AND HOPE THAT MY DREAMS WILL COME TRUE
    AND THEN WHILE I´M AWAY
    I´LL WRITE HOME EVERYDAY

The Chinese new year is approaching and at this time people have a traditional habit to put papercuts on windows, walls or doors. The red paper is usually been cut into the shape of the Chinese word “福” which means good luck.
I heard that Linkin Park will come to China to have a Live in Beijing this year,if it possible,I would like to present you some of my treasures.
And 32 hours later,I’ll have my test of IELTS.Good luck to myslef!!!Wish to get a good band.
