  2. YourConscience on March 16, 2008 at 12:30 pm

Mike!!! When I’m out of town, with no access to the internet, you’re not allowed to post interesting stuff like this. Because it takes me forever to see these cool things, and then I feel behind the times. =) Anyhow, thanks for sharing. Linkin Park helped me grow… It was only a matter of time before the rest of the world discovered the power behind your music as well. =D

  3. Jess_Rox on March 15, 2008 at 2:56 pm

Now when ever my teachers (or parents) tell me not to studdy with music, i’ll show them that article (thanx!)
I love that linkin Park helps with issues around the world, It makes me get up and do things to help others and our enviorment. (even if the goverment dosen’t give a crap!)

    Hey Mike,
I commend you on all the work for the environment you do in the US, like recycling at shows etc.

But please remember that global warming is a global issue (The clue’s in the name…)
You weren’t that kind to Europe the last time you were there… flying unnecessarily around the place. Not exactly a great way to reduce carbon emissions.
    -Andi

  6. Lucya on March 14, 2008 at 8:59 am

  13. analoggirl on March 12, 2008 at 1:08 pm

There should be a new goal for MFR:

Continue to aid the rebuilding process in the U.S. Gulf Coast following hurricanes Katrina and Rita.

Work to weaken and decelerate future natural disasters by raising awareness about the environmental consequences of climate change and our responsibility to reduce greenhouse gasses and develop alternate, renewable forms of energy.
Provide aid to current reforestation efforts (as initiated by American Trees and Tree Canada) by playing Linkin Park music to all new saplings.

    😀

  14. vegmonkey on March 12, 2008 at 12:28 pm

Just wonder how those tomatoes’ taste like… “Linkimato”, eh?

I don’t know whether my cats love your songs, they seems to moan everytime I play them. Does it mean “Shut it up when I moaning to you!”?

There’s word Hindi (Indian Language, not the American Indian, the Indian Indian, ha ha!!)
    ok
there’s a word in Hindi, “”Jazbaah””.
This word is pronounced the same way as “chutzpah” and also means almost the same.

  17. maria on March 12, 2008 at 7:52 am

Hi Mike! It’s really great and tremendous ) I agree with this statement (or I hold with it). And this interesting word “chutspah” it must be arabian by origin and it’s rather strong) It’s not an offensive one) I’ve seen it in one English article) It’s great that you know it) and I think that’s because you read some articles while traveling to a brand new town)))))))) Have a nice evening)

  39. Sylvie on March 11, 2008 at 6:24 am

I can confirm LP’s music is good for life! My fish, man, they’re so prolific! My daughter told her English teacher that our fish love rock and she smiled. But this is pure true! Should we go forward with this research?🙂 Anyway LP has two fans in my family (my daughter and me, excepting the fish and the plants) and FM has three. Mike, I adore your song “Hands held high”! You are amazing! Your music makes me fell alive and free!!! So thank you! Today is my birthday so I entered your blog to give myself a gift. It may sound childish… I was born on eleventh of March and it makes me so happy that we have the number eleven in common. :)) Keep going ! You’re doing a great job!

  40. Jhuryn on March 11, 2008 at 6:22 am

I can’t believe you used the word “chutzpah”. Did you pull that one off the SAT vocab section? haha

  43. Umi on March 11, 2008 at 4:25 am

lol Wow, that makes me thinking about buying some plants… for my appartement… I don’t have any so far, ’cause normally every plant I touch dies, even before I reach the cash box in the supermarket/wherever… maybe I should hold the earphones of my mp3 player next to it on my way home😄 and at home already is plenty of LP music lol and about ur other blog post – the musician film thingy – that sounds pretty interesting. I hope, it reaches Germany someday or will be at least available somewhere on the internet🙂 c ya (on June 28th), Umi …. PS: We want No Roads Left live! XP

  48. Ezza on March 10, 2008 at 10:21 pm

mythbusters did somethings similar, but they played death metal to the pea plants …same result tho they performed the best out of the lot….maybe its not that the plants like the music but are actually trying to get away from it…i know linkin park pisses my little bro off real bad…i swear that i dont do the sibling thing and crank my sterio up so all u hear is chaz screaming shut up( insert sarcastic smilie here)..its so much fun😛 there is nothing like chester’s scream for releasing tention..much better than punching a brick wall and breaking ur knuckles… which is wat my bff did be4 she found lp thanx 2 my ipod.🙂

But after all,I’m happy to know this~~LP’s music is good for growing plants~~

I wonder that if your musics are good for children’s growing??

    HA HA

  51. Kaolla_Shiori on March 10, 2008 at 9:41 pm

    Things I have learnt today

A new word. An interesting new word. =D
Plants secretly have ears. I think they might be on their stems, like how grasshoppers have ears on their legs.
Linkin Park music may just be the next Miracle Grow.

haha thanks for sharing the article! Take Care~

  52. Akaree on March 10, 2008 at 9:24 pm

…aki missed your chat. =( got home exactly at midnight from work. (cries) Anyways…you guys already took over the world, you ARE mother nature…or if that’s too much, you guys are her children. lol, you guys support and do something about protecting the real earth than any other celebrities. Keep up the good job and my lpu has expired and it has horrible maintenance and too much newbs being racists and mods don’t do shit about that, they only take actions when “white” ppl complain, so I won’t renew. I’ll see you guys at the edgefest! take care! aki lubs youuu!

  55. akitagirl on March 10, 2008 at 8:06 pm

Hmmm, I wonder if the fact that I play a ton of LP has anything to do with my kids growing so fast. More testing needed. LOl

  56. ShadowerLiltani on March 10, 2008 at 7:56 pm

Isn’t that hilarious? Who’d a thought LP musi could make plants grow. I swear Mike, you guys are going to take over the world.

  57. kUmiKo on March 10, 2008 at 7:55 pm

not only for plant but also good for human!!wwww

  58. mina on March 10, 2008 at 7:45 pm

I’m going to be honest: I stopped reading your entry immediately after I read “Chutzpah”. Your entries need more Yiddish, Mike. Much more Yiddish. Keep it coming.

  59. murry on March 10, 2008 at 7:28 pm

Two things: 1) You cannot know how overjoyed I am that you just used Yiddish. 2) I just read that this afternoon and I could not stop smiling. And that tears it. No more studying to the sounds of Yo Yo Ma. Now I can justify rocking out to LP while I learn.

  60. SteppinRazor on March 10, 2008 at 6:44 pm

That’s pretty cool… I’m gonna show that to my parents whenever they tell me to turn down my music!
    Parent: Turn that down!
Me: But it’s good for the houseplants, see!

  61. shan1105 on March 10, 2008 at 6:25 pm

that was a neat article, hey is projekt revolution going to come to the U.S this summer? I was at the show at the joint , it was an awesome venue to be so close and personal. for those of you not there, it only held about 2, 000 people! totally rocked!!!

  62. Doggie24690 on March 10, 2008 at 6:23 pm
