dude.. i must share this with u..
there’s an artist here in Sao Paulo – Brazil, which does the reverse graffiti at the walls of tunnels.. check the “Max Feffer”s’ walls here here and here
i don’t know if u know the “reverse graffiti project”, but, the real color of this tunnel was yellow, the pollution turned it into black.. the artist, uses humid/wet cloths to “clean” the tunnel resulting in his art.. he takes the ‘dirty water’ coming out of the cloth and let it evaporate..

with the “black powder” that remains, he uses as “ink” for other paintings like this and this
