Hi Mr. Bishounen,

I’m taking an art class this semester [Color Theory], and we have this research project where we have to pick an artist and tell about them. I picked you because I really do love your work and would love to give you some hype. I was wondering if you could post a quick blog about what colors you use and why you use them. The colors for the Diamonds, Spades, Hearts, Clubs set seemed more muted, was there a reason why? I dunno if you’ll find this comment in time, hopefully before Monday, if you have the time.

Looks awesome! I was trying to earn enough money to be able to fly out to LA and go to Dies but I can’t now, I can’t find a job. It sucks really bad. I hate living in Massachusetts.

When i saw those bags full of spray paints it reminds me of the art of meteora video…hahaha!roses are in bloom,very nice…love the paintings eventhough its not finished yet…wish your painting would be here in asia too …or tour around the world:)Take care:))

Hey just wanted to know how you think up ideas for each individual painting? I am currently doing a set of paintings called “Dystopia” where i am doing paintings of everything that is wrong with the world, well not everything as there aint enough paint ion world to do that many painting but you get my point. And i am going to follow it up with a set of paintings called “Utopia” where it is all good in world! So i was just curious on the thought process that goes into your paintings just to help me out somewhat? Or if you had any ideas that would be awesome?
Good luck with all your paintings i am very excited about seeing them.

I love the whole concept of your pieces. Living, dying, how an excess of too much will eventually kill you. I have a feeling that this series of Glorious Excess (Dies) will be much, much darker than Born. At least, I hope it will be, haha. I like what you have so far. =]
