You know, before I knew the DVD was released on 26th, when i went into Speedy, I saw it!
And I was so freaked out…!

Then they played it in the TV, although they didn’t really play it, they just leave it there…
And it was SO awesome, even if I hadn’t watch the video!

But when I went into other shops, they hadn’t start selling.

    Anyways, it’s really awesome!

  2. akira_loves_shinoda on November 28, 2008 at 5:53 am

    i just have my DVD..
and i discovered the hidden bonus features..
    it was all good fun!!
    nice one guys..
i love the DVD so much!!!!

  3. Shadow on November 25, 2008 at 5:16 am

What a review… 🙂 Got the CD/DVD in the mail on Friday but must give in that I didn’t have the chance to watch the DVD this past weekend. Been listening to the CD though quite a bit and all I can say about that is: its great! (Well, of course, I mean, we’re talking LP Live, eh?!). The show in Milton Keynes is surely unforgettable for those who were there…makes me think of my first LP concert which I will never ever forget…

  4. Zip on November 24, 2008 at 2:35 pm

uhh we have problems with music releases here in Latvia. So guys from music store said I must wait for a whole week, or maybe 2…I didn’t wanted, and I asked my best friend from UK to send it to me
Can’t wait to see, to hear…Gosh, it gonna be more than just GREAT

  5. nadine on November 24, 2008 at 1:47 pm

yeah “over-the-top” is the right word 🙂 I bought Road to Revolution today. it’s pretty amazing. awesome!!!!

  6. Jen1983 on November 24, 2008 at 8:32 am

I’m probably repeating a ton of comments already made, but here goes anyway…
You and the band/crew have done a great job with Road To Revolution, it’s almost like being back there 🙂 I was extremely happy to find the bonus features, glad those made it on. Awesome show, can’t wait to hear some new material. And THANKYOU for choosing the UK Projekt Rev show to put on to DVD 🙂

  7. Lynnie on November 24, 2008 at 8:29 am

Wow – reading that both hurt my eyes (too big, dude!) and made me laugh.
As an English Kerrang! reader, I think it’s amusing how Kerrang! always slate Linkin Park until there is something new OR a week or two until a big interview with the band… then they get nice.
Those magazine editors are so fickle, it’s shocking… but a great review, congrats!
Hopes to get R2R for Xmas… might make the ‘festive season’ bearable

  8. affelay on November 24, 2008 at 7:40 am

great extra’s on the new dvd. But are there extra’s on the live in texas dvd?

  9. GreenPheonix on November 24, 2008 at 4:43 am

I was gonna go to this concert, but i did’t have any money> Dam it any way’s congrats and keep on rockin

  10. ritzifying on November 23, 2008 at 8:14 pm

wow. Somebody sounds positively smitten with LP.

  11. LinkinParkRULES on November 23, 2008 at 12:53 pm

Yeah! That’s what I’m talkin about! This is so true! You guys are so awesome! Congratulations!

  12. WTF on November 23, 2008 at 10:13 am

Fuck release dates. Road to Revolution leaked like what..2 weeks ago? LOL.

It was awesome by the way. 😀

What’s with the secrecy on Back Your World. hahaha. Like some of us don’t know your singing voice by now..even if it was slightly different like you used a popper/rapper stopper. The first verse is questionable but the second one it seems so obvious. I’d guess you won’t admit to it cause people will think you’re a perv. LOL

  13. lynndarwinharris on November 23, 2008 at 9:29 am

Ordered mine online–will ship monday! Can’t wait!! No suprise on the articles–you guys are the best!!! By the way everybody–go to fuse and vote!!!

  14. Anne on November 23, 2008 at 8:39 am

I also have the DVD since Friday (today’s sunday) and it’s great. But what is “Kerrang” talking about “exclusive photos and hidden bonus features”? Don’t know what he means. Any help maybe?

  15. RavRule52 on November 23, 2008 at 5:34 am

i should have posted this yesterday, but happy 3rd anniversary Fort Minor. oh and the album review is pretty awesome.

Here in Brazil I think it’s just in 24th only, but the audio I have since July. And it’s great. Everyone will approve this new record 😀

(I'd like to see Bus in some video too...)

  23. panta_rhei on November 22, 2008 at 4:26 pm

I already have the dvd (since it was release on november 20th in europe) and i have to say, it is the most brilliant live dvd ever! the atmosphere is unbelievable, the sound is great, chester’s voice sounds better than any time before and i finally think that the mash-ups with jay-z are great. i never really liked them before, but this dvd made me enjoy them 😀

i also have one question: at the concert in munich you said that this show was the largest turnout for a project revolution concert ever. so why did you decide to make a dvd with the show at milton keynes? because of jay-z?

  24. Hawaii_LP_fan on November 22, 2008 at 3:50 pm

Wow, they certainly gave you lots of love. Everyone is smitten with Linkin Park’s music! :o) Nice interview you & Mr. Rob did. Fresh ahi, raw? yummy, shoyu & wasabi is the way to go. Hope your mini downtime is relaxing. Good luck tomorrow, AMA’s!

  25. TaylorKenjiLP on November 22, 2008 at 3:06 pm

Off topic, but I thought this was funny.

  27. NoMoreSorrowGirl on November 22, 2008 at 2:37 pm

While I was reading that words up there I feel like I was reading a book…love story indeed…ha!ha!ha!…well, well, well…of course that’s Linkin Park and no one could beat them except that white pegacorn if they will going to step out from their shell…ha!ha!ha!And reading your interview makes me…aaaaaaaaahhhhhh! I can’t explain it right now…BTW, I know you can’t help yourself but to visit us every now and then here :))So sweet of you:))Love you Mike:))Take care U and LP:))

PS: you only have a minute to post this one i wonder how can you do that!?maybe you have tentacles hiding under your armpit…hahaha!I can’t imagine you have that itchy little thing like that on an octopus:))

  28. Madlen on November 22, 2008 at 2:17 pm

Before saying anything else-I just listened to the rip of you on Loveline this Wednesday I think? So I wanna ask you if Striker did post a comment here?:DYou promised him you’ll answer:DAnd about Road To Revolution-will you guys post some kind of clues how to find the extras like you did for Frat Party At The Pancake Festival?

  29. rockermeg on November 22, 2008 at 2:06 pm

I’d like to tell ZACH to f–k off as it was the biggest PR show to date and he’s just jealous he couldn’t be there to experience the most awesome concert of the year
Moving on-I couldn’t have put it better, but maybe it is a bit over the top, hahaha
Seriously, that show was damn amazing and I couldn’t be happier that it was coming out on CD/DVD
The Americans have had PR for aaages but now you guys know we love it over here and we’re your biggest fans!!!!
    5 Star Post =D
    What issue was that in?
    Can’t wait for Monday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Love from UK,

  30. Joanie_LP on November 22, 2008 at 1:41 pm

    sorry for wrong section but:

enough said!!! hope you see it though 🙂

  31. EpilepticChickenScratch on November 22, 2008 at 1:27 pm

Haha, did no one tell you the DVD was coming out on Monday now? Hmm. Nice, trying to avoid Barack Your World, by the way. You totally know you did it.

PS – Where’s that picture Stryker promised?? =)

  32. Urban on November 22, 2008 at 1:03 pm

    Mike, i have one question.
Of course, sorry if this question will be kinda stupid or smth.
But, do you really have brother or not?

  33. Zach on November 22, 2008 at 1:01 pm

I didn’t think Milton Keynes was the best show of LP’s career…sorry. You guys should have chose a better show, like one from PR in the states for instance.

  34. Snails on November 22, 2008 at 12:24 pm

gosh Kerrang are two-faced about LP! great review though 🙂

  35. Shinoda77 on November 22, 2008 at 11:36 am

  36. NeneLP88 on November 22, 2008 at 11:33 am

That’s a geat review! Plus it’s true, although those two adjectives don’t usually match. Luckily, that’s not our case =P

…”and Barack Your World…” You don’t seem to want to admit you made that hilarious song+video, uhn? Bad Mikey.. =D

  37. durg on November 22, 2008 at 11:20 am

&& It was truly epic. Everything the review said was soo true.

  44. Alice_K on November 22, 2008 at 10:38 am

  45. petiterocker on November 22, 2008 at 10:26 am

Well I was there with Jadey… also known as Hybrid 911 and I was lucky enough to have her drag me along 😀 it was absolutely one of the most amazing days in my life specially since i had just graduated and would only be able to go if i did so, so it was a double celibration for me 😀 thank you guys for such an amazing day! And that there’s a DVD now too is just too weird lol, it’s strange to know you’ve been there and seen it with your own eyes. Word

  50. RachaelLP on November 22, 2008 at 8:34 am

I think Kerrang has some bipolar tendencies when it comes to Linkin Park really. Nice review of the DVD, my mate showed me it a couple of days ago i thought it was really funny. I’d have to say they’re true, though i’m slightly biased ‘cos i was at MK. That gig’ll be pretty hard to beat :). Hope the DVD does it justice.

  51. uarpig on November 22, 2008 at 8:12 am

  53. ShadowerLiltani on November 22, 2008 at 6:27 am

ZOMG you’re back I misseded you!!!!!!11!111!111!!!!one!!1!! extreme hug Yay, thanks for the articles. I left my two cents under the name “Alexandra”. Why won’t you just admit you wrote Barack Your World? You’re embarrassed cause it’s a “naughty song” huh? poke poke, prod prod But like, seriously, are White Pegacorn a band of actual human beings, or just puppets? Oh, and I forgot to mention, I am VERY excited about the new studio album. Hurray for experimental art 😀

  54. Gabry94LinkinParkfan23 on November 22, 2008 at 6:11 am

  55. yohannaaaa on November 22, 2008 at 5:50 am

I’m gonna order RTR today !
They show it tomorrow on MTV (in sweden) at 11pm i think, i’ll probably faint when i see it, it’s gonna be so awesome.
And the review that kerrang wrote was just amazing.
You know Mike, i don’t even know if i’m prepared to see the dvd, i think it’s just TOO amazing.
    Have the greatest weekend ever.

  56. Andizzle on November 22, 2008 at 5:41 am

Kerrang have done a complete 180 lately. I actually stopped buying that magazine last year because of all the LP bashing going on…

Very flattering review. Hope the DVD lives up to it!

  57. Phoebolita on November 22, 2008 at 5:35 am

Shock! Horror! Kerrang writing a complementary review! That’s not something you see every day. I was at the gig at MK, and it was awesome, admittedly. Although I’m broke, so hopefully Christmas will treat me with it hint hint.

  58. Yves on November 22, 2008 at 5:10 am

I bought the DVD yesterday and I have to say the show was great. You really feel the energy and the camera angle behind Rob’s drums is very cool. I just wished we would see some backstage footage, maybe next time 😉

  59. miKer0cks on November 22, 2008 at 4:59 am

Wow!!! What an amazing description fro RTR!!! Congrats guys 😀 You totally deserve it 🙂 Btw…you guys are doing great so far on fuse’s conetst for 2008’s best video!!! You are heading towards the finals 🙂

  60. Frerard on November 22, 2008 at 4:54 am

congrats on the review. 4 K’s, not bad. well, i hope i can get myself a copy pretty soon down here.

last year’s thread still up, if you’d like to drop by and be like that you forget about the date again haha. but hey, at least you still remember the name, right? >.>

    @QWERTZ. i seconded the comment/questions on FM.

  61. Kalini on November 22, 2008 at 3:55 am

I didn’t expect any post today and I’m surprised by the post itself, too. Firstly, I’ve read the interview for RS some time ago and as long as you don’t confirm anything regarding Barrack Your World, I couldn’t have any questions. Second, the person who wrote the Kerrang piece went too far, doing his job. I agree that we have a “band of a decade”, but not a “band of a century”. Mike, could you nominate a band of the 20th century. I’m sure you couldn’t. I don’t expect to find your performance perfect when I watch the DVD, as well. Mike, your fans are not looking for a perfection, they just love YOUR WAY. Nevertheless, it’s a good commercial and it’ll work. Krassie

  62. qwertz on November 22, 2008 at 3:47 am

hehehe, the ol’ 700’s back, weee^^ the author of the review should’ve gone into love novel industry xD or maybe he/she’s a fan… or perhaps he/she has simply been there… can’t wait to get it!! and you can pretend to be innocent all you want – we know the truth! and we like it 😉 oh, yeah, isn’t today The Rising Tied’s 3rd birthday? (if someone’s an FM-er and i’m right abot the b-day thing, spam this reminder note further!)… care to post on that one? a R.I.P. post at least? some of us are still waiting for the 2nd FM record… if FM was just a one-time thing, then just bloody say it, dameet, make it official already…

  63. bec on November 22, 2008 at 2:45 am

‘All dancing crowd’ – were kerrang reviewing the right show?
I was there and certainly don’t remember any dancing.

And if you don’t want to confirm your relationship to the “Barack Your World” song you should really have set the domain to private and not had your name and address linked to it through – but of course you knew that. Oh and maybe disguised the voice of the puppet that ‘would never pull out’ – great sone, great video…put it on the next album.

  64. skindesbous on November 22, 2008 at 12:30 am

Congratulations for the Kerrang review! I’m looking forward to watching the DVD =D! BTW, you repeat so many times the words “at this point” on the Rolling interview, funny 😀

  65. CuteWhiteBunny on November 21, 2008 at 11:26 pm

I can’t wait to get Road To Revolution
That just makes me want to get it even more

  66. linkinparc on November 21, 2008 at 11:17 pm

  67. lp_fm_fan on November 21, 2008 at 10:38 pm

Kerrang is right for once? Ha. Well about y’all. 🙂

Oh Mike, we knew about the Barack your World long ago! Found it hilarious that you did not confirm nor deny it! I love how you put “…” after the title, btw. haha.

On a side note: Mike, kindly ask your fans to vote for Linkin Park on fuse’s Best of 2008. A lot of us in the LPMB and LPUMB have been voting and we need to gather more voters. I refuse to let Paramore win! As devoted fans, we really want Linkin Park to win, lol.

  68. Veronica on November 21, 2008 at 9:12 pm ..its called a “TuttukiBako” and I don’t get it.

“Although the sheer magic of the occasion is something you had to witness first hand in order to fully understand it’s brilliance.”
There’s just one thing I’ll say – COME TO INDIA!!!! There are tons of fans here (even some LPUers) so you definitely won’t be disappointed. Hell at least give us ONE CHANCE. We’re dying to see you guys live.

  70. analoggirl on November 21, 2008 at 7:50 pm

Mike, please tell me that the White Pegacorn interview footage will be released soon. Can’t wait to see it! Also, let Humpty Hump drop a verse on the new LP record… you know you want to. 😉

  71. Hybr1d_7h3ory on November 21, 2008 at 7:46 pm

That review was pretty intense, I can’t wait to be able to buy it bright and early on Monday. That was a really good interview with Rolling Stone, ” I can neither confirm or deny…” lol. I like how you always sound so professional in interviews. But I thought according to “Get Me Gone”, you only do e-mail responses to print interviews?! I can’t wait for “Songs From the Underground” either next week.

I patiently await your next post. Keep it real…Hybr1d_7h3ory

  72. soyuneik on November 21, 2008 at 7:21 pm

WTF.. Did I just read a romance novel? Pron?
Kerrang Slowly felt up Linkin Park leaving out all the rest. .. haha!
“Although the sheer magic of the occasion is something you had to witness first hand in order to fully understand it’s brilliance. “ ah! you guys got sexed up !

  73. Danielle7777 on November 21, 2008 at 6:26 pm

I cant wait for the new CD/DVD!!!! I have a question for you Mike, I’m interested in buying a keyboard and learning how to play it. But I have no clue what type of keyboard to buy! Could you point me in the right direction. I understand if you are to busy to answer but if you do, I would be very grateful! Danielle.

that was a Kerrang review?? O.o did they get massive brain transplants??? lol

  77. Aqua101 on November 21, 2008 at 4:36 pm

I never know for sure how was the ‘real’ atmosphere in MK-Event. But described by all the leaks & yr words, it looks very insane & attractive, nevertheless, yes, I’ll still love to owe that CD/DVD!! I’ll have one for sure. Out of content: tell Stryker to post his comments here (w/ his real name of course)…we’ll toss him around…I dare him on that…Ha-Ha-Ha :). And guys…PLZ VOTE FOR LP : BTW, Mike is it true that u sing “No Road Left” in 1 of yr tour shows? I found this in U-Tube :…it was awesome!!! It’d be damn amazing if u sing this on yr next performance. Keep that voice, Mike.

Although you guys are INDEED the “21st century’s biggest-selling band,” I do agree that it’s just a little over the top and extravagant. Nevertheless, you guys deserve all the praise and recognition received – Linkin Park genuinely is unforgettable. I TOTALLY AGREE with UndercoverShinoda down there.. I would love some more painting tips – this time, with oil paints instead! ❤ Hope you're working on that album (: 3 days until Road to Revolution!

Or how is it possible this milton keynes performing sounds perfect and like the other performings sounds just more fun.. still good but no 100% perfect but 99% perfect:p

    and two questions:
    1. did you listened last britney spears album circus?
    2. tell us what you have in your computer

  87. antje on November 21, 2008 at 2:31 pm

Yeah, I agree with Kerrang. This performance was awesome- as always….. But there was a perfomance two days before MK. This show was outstanding. It was @ the Berlin Waldbühne. This was the f***** best LP Show!!!! Ok… Maybe I am not objectively… I was there… 😉 Thanks guys! LP rules…

If only I could afford it. 😦 It looks great based on what’s been shared/leaked so far. I don’t know that Kerrang’s ass-kissing is genuine or pretentious, though.

  89. undercovershinoda on November 21, 2008 at 2:25 pm

It’s not over the top, it’s completely accurate of yer amazin-ness.

I have that magazine and someone tried to steal it off me, so I licked the picture of Chester and they gave it back straightaway. Bwahahahahaha.

Do you plan on posting anymore painting tips? The ones you gave already were really quite helpful and I’m probably not the only one who would love some more. ❤

  90. MarishkaLP on November 21, 2008 at 2:15 pm

so it says that the DVD contains the FULL live performance, that means that Points of Authority, Somewhere I belong and Papercut will be there on the DVD, right??

  91. I_B_Long on November 21, 2008 at 1:54 pm

im too lazy to read it all right now (i will soon, i promise!) but…uummm… if im not mistaken project rev “arrived on foreign soil” a few days (or more….) before milton keynes (berlin or munich ring a bell?) but yeah, i got my DVD today (for once im glad we are stationed in germany) and i gotta say it was pretty awesome, even tho i have totally overdosed on your music since i saw you live in june (mannheim) i still enjoyed it very much.

  92. tpbarbosa on November 21, 2008 at 1:40 pm

Really good article, Kerrang described exactly how LP concerts are : “a day of absolute perfection that spread across every last detail”. Those concerts I was lucky to attend were also awesome, and I think you, all guys should be proud, of the perfect band you’ve created with talent and persistance. It’s not easy to find a band made by members that think in every little detail to make the fans feel the whole atmosphere of their sound and their lyrics. I’m so excited to have this dvd on hands!! *It actually makes me remind of the release of Live in Texas… I was so damn excited too :p)
Last, but not least, I really admire you and the whole Linkin Park 🙂

You guys should have filmed the show you had in NYC on 2/21/08. Best concert of my life, and unlike this concert, Jay-Z came out without notice. The crowd in Milton Keynes(sp) already knew Jay-Z would come. I don’t know, maybe it’s just my bias. The crowd in NYC was insane as well, everybody sang the lyrics correctly and there wasn’t one moment I felt disappointed; the only thing that did though, was that you didn’t play forgotten, but I can live with that

I was just about to post that over at the LPU, I cant believe how overly nice it was, they usually give you not to great reviews to say the least, I had to check to make sure it was Kerrang I was reading. It was a great show though, I was trying to call in to Loveline last wednesday from England while you were on as Stryker requested but it kept cutting me off, if you were to ask me what my favourite part was I would have said Hands Held High, I thought it was beautiful, and also the encore was fantastic; not to mention how great the lineup for the day was, thanks for putting that together for us. We want the White Pegacorn interview footage!

  95. Curiosa on November 21, 2008 at 1:32 pm

Umm…wow if people weren’t already pissed at you on fmmb then they will be even more now, Mr. I’m too busy to post a simple hi over there because I’m only posting here. But then again I’m sure you already read all the bad things (experiences) they’ve said about you over there. Surprising how it took 2 mods to clsose it. lol

PS: You forgot to mention Bobo’s solo album. Have a good weekend. 🙂
