The Record Machine / Perhapsy

January 12, 2009

A little random, but here was some cool music I ran across the other day. The Record Machine is an indie label based out of Kansas City, Missouri. They want to “make an organic community of artists and people who love good music.” Here is a sampling of their artists. I really liked the Perhapsy and Max Justus songs. Awesome.

Suhweet Mike, you are finally talking about my neck of the woods. I actuality have a friend that works as a promoter/gig booker for The Record Machine. Most people don’t give the Midwest the respect it deserves when it come to music. But any way The Record Machine has some pretty good bands “signed” on. If you have some free time I know of some that aren’t mentioned above and they are well worth a listen to: Hang Glider Empire, The Letter Division, Five Finger Magic, Black Pool Lights. They all have myspaces and have most of their good material on them.

Catcha on the flip side Mike…Hybr1d_7h3ory

Hey, I’ve just watched this great (English) show.
Rude Tube 2009 with Alex Zane.
It counts down the top 50 viral videos on YouTube in an hour, showing the strangest, sickest, funniest and most unusual videos ever. It’s a great laugh, if you’re up for it!
You might want to open in a new tab/window as it’s a pop-out, and you may need to refresh the page to help it load…but it’s worth it, trust me!

Miiiiike, I saw a video of a girl (Marie Digby) who sings ‘What I’ve Done’ with the piano. It’s simply splendid, if you have never seen it yet -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otdEhyGrujQ&feature=channel

It’s an interesting post! Thanks for sharing! My favorites was Max Justus’s and Caled Winn’s songs!!🙂 – On “The First Noel” isn’t annoying the sound that guitar does when the note changes? o.O But how can you correct that?
