The Beatles: Seven in Four?

January 26, 2009

I was just researching something online, which led me to a Beatles song, which led me to a list of their releases. Check out the year of release (UK) on these albums:

Help!– Aug ’65

Rubber Soul– Dec ’65

Revolver– Aug ’66

Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band– June ’67

The Beatles (a.k.a. ‘The White Album’)– Nov ’68

Yellow Submarine– Jan ’69

Abbey Road– Sept ’69

Yes I left out a couple albums, which were re-releases of material.

These guys released seven classic albums and did a lifetime of evolving in the span of four years. We all need to step our shit up. I’m going to the studio.

    Hey Mike,

After performing with Paul McCartney at the Grammy’s and seeing what he is still doing for the music industry, can you see yourself as well as the rest of your the bandmates, performing in your 60’s like Paul.

Thank you for making great music. I find myself only listening to your CDs.

Good Luck on the new album.

  2. outlawserenade on January 29, 2009 at 11:38 am

Why do I get the feeling a Yellow Submarine is coming by any time soon..? Or dare I say; PINK Submarine? @.@

By the by, they do jam sessions just about every other morning. Might want to keep that in mind. 😉

And bloody hell @ whoever said you “can” be the Beatles. Don’t BE the Beatles. That’s the most impossible thing to achieve unless you want to kill everyone between 30-70 years old. Be yourself.

  3. lynndarwinharris on January 28, 2009 at 7:25 pm

Take the time you think is necessary. I love the uniqueness of each album you have released. Each album is amazing and I listen to them over and over. You are Linkin Park, one of the best bands in the world. You are loved the world over. Take your time, I’m a fan for eternity!!!!

  4. MayJ on January 28, 2009 at 12:17 pm

I guess our generation,we have more things to do,see, feel without “trying” thanks to this convenient world compare to people who lived in those years back in 60’s,I can’t explain it well, but so they had more time to create songs, get inspiration from anything,it could be said to fans.Nowadays fans don’t get satisfied with “just good” things. It needs to be extraordinary type of things. You guys are the ones who satisfy and amaze us:)

  5. SinisterNL on January 28, 2009 at 11:17 am

    I got thought about this,

As seen, in 4 years they created 7 succesfully(?) ablums.
I think, why they could do that is because their (lets say) first 2 albums where major milestone.
With the succes they created in that small amount of time people just couldnt get enough of it so they were pretty save to create another album. My opinion about that is that not ANY KIND of band should do that because of the great danger that lies beneath called critics and ”milking out”. IMO LP was even possible to do that after HT, but you guys maybe would ruined yourself. If your are familiar with The beatles, how do those albums sound like? All the same or different?

  6. diff on January 28, 2009 at 6:10 am

I have nothing to say about your post, sorry, but I was just wondering… a Finnish evening paper has announced LP may be performing at a one-day festival with Metallica and 10 other bands in Finland at the end of July this year. It’s just a rumor and the organizers haven’t confirmed anything yet, just said they’ve discussed a festival like that. Is it even possible to see LP touring in July? It sounds pretty unlikely.

  7. MusicalMorphine on January 28, 2009 at 3:34 am

I find it interesting how on most pf the comments people are saying “Oh no, you don’t need to do anything, take your time” yet I remember reading quite a few posts on the forums of people bitching about how it takes 4 years to release an album. I’m not a musician, aside from being able to play a few chords and keys, but I’ve never written a song, definitely not an album so I don’t know how the song making process is. I know I remember watching an interview with Kings Of Leon and they wrote two albums in two or three years I believe, but that wasn’t them saying we need to write as much as possible, that’s just how it happens. I think it’s different for every band.

  8. Shinodabestfriend on January 28, 2009 at 2:41 am

Shinoda is becoming crazy.. hahaha! joking, Michael… I mean that if you wanna make all these albums you have to stay in tour for loooong time… your band mates will kill you.. hahahaha! me not.. I will love you because I can havemore than a chance to see Linkin Park live… yeeee!!!! lol as what can I seriously say, you will pass to the history like the most important band (and if I’m not wrong, you guys already are from 10 years) and your fans will never stop to support you… and I personally think (and see) that they are becoming even more… so.. GOOD LUCK TO YOUR NEW ALBUM! (can’t wait anymore…^^) and let Chester’s voice relax a bit before tours… hahahahaha! 🙂 kisses!!

  9. spraypaintNinkpens on January 27, 2009 at 9:50 pm

Pump out a few records in the next few years, get a new label who doesn’t scrutnize your fan base.
Please stray away from the slow pop songs. I know it sells, but it’s annoying. MTM is boring.

  10. faiintx on January 27, 2009 at 8:00 pm

in my opinion, mike, linkin park is soon going to be the beatles of the 21st century.

and truthfully, (even though I LOVE the Beatles), i actually prefer listening to Linkin Park, a whole lot more =] But that might be because i’m only 13, so i wasn’t alive during the Beatles’ highest point in success so i’m not really aware of how popular they really were.
(ps. this is really random, but i envy you for living in california. it’s FREEZING in texas! it’s like 15 degrees 😦 )
and btw ; you’re my idol! – pallavi

  11. caleb_bozeman on January 27, 2009 at 6:33 pm

i’m not dissing the beatles but at least you guys take your time working on the track and rewriting it till it sounds good. Are you going to produce the new album or is Rick going to do it again?

  12. Chemist999 on January 27, 2009 at 3:42 pm

Yeah, and how quickly it all came to an end.

  13. ChesterDEAN on January 27, 2009 at 2:55 pm

You also skipped Magical Mystery Tour and the fact that they also did three movies in those years. I’m so happy they encourage you to work on your new album. But the truth is they always rushed their releases because of their contract, they had to release god knows what number of LP’s per year. And Lennon & McCartney had this gift of writing songs out of ANYTHING and dream about melodies. And when they stepped into the Studio they’d spend whole days there, really hard working guys hehe!. But like a comment below said, quality is better than quantity and your recording process is already great. PS: To be quite honest, I’ve always seen YOU as the McCartney of LP, the guy that can do ANYTHING.

  14. kasimpson on January 27, 2009 at 2:47 pm

I’ll dig this shit! I was born in 1966 and I would have to say it was an awesome time to have been born. I’m wondering what’s sparking your idea’s to look up beetle song’s. Hey atleast we know what page were on…..I’ll have to check out that Revolver song. I’m not sure if I have ever heard it. The Beatles have alot of songs that are completley underground. I found some old bootleg cassette’s of some dead shows I went to back in like 1985. There space stuff is cool..K.A.S

  15. davidkyoku on January 27, 2009 at 1:18 pm

    hey Mike what’s up?
I’d like you see my pinted guitar on this video, I think you’ll like it..I painted the same pic than tour PRS..:P
I play with my band (Overdriven 66) on friday in the famous Razzmatazz in Barcelona. Thanks for the inspiration 😉

  16. sasummsumm on January 27, 2009 at 10:14 am

maybe mike you just do the Quality not Quantity thing ?^^…but good if it encourages you guys XD…better for my itunes monster that wants music ^^

  17. NataliaForgotten on January 27, 2009 at 9:54 am

I’ve grown up listening to Beatles, my dad is a big fan of them! Surely one of my favorite bands. 🙂 (yeah, studio! don’t worry about time, I’ll wait)

  18. tpbarbosa on January 27, 2009 at 9:48 am

Beatles was a true legend. Do you imagine Linkin Park becoming a band that will be reminded in the future?
I mean like something that revolutionated the music industry? Do you think LP has this potencial?
Cause I’ll always remember of Linkin Park, as a band that proved themselves as the best bands ever.
I hope everyone will know about you, guys in the future 😉

And btw ser Paul McCartney was in Kiev, capital of Ukraine,centr-east Europe in June 2008.and make amazing show for us. So many people came to Ukraine from different countries in the world. In our main squar was almost 350 000 people.and a concert was free, without money! And there was the biggest stage (2 ton!) with hugest tv in the world! There is only 2 or 3 tv like this in the world..I don’t know why I said aka writed it for you (if you,Mike, realy read this) maybe just for note-that Ukraine wonderful country, young as an independent, but still the best!So we invite 🙂

PS: sorry that write it in 100’s time)

    Love you,orcestra-man)

  22. ArielCahen on January 27, 2009 at 7:26 am

I think some of you got it wrong. Mike never compared LP to The Beatles. All he said is that what the Beatles accomplished is something he looks up to. The times and the sceneries have changed though, Mike. Consider this. Personally, I think the Beatles are a little overrated.
Good to see you are motivated, anyway. YOU are someone I expect the best of and I know you’re going to accomplish anything you want to.
Good luck with the new songs, Miiike!

  24. Squishy_Ho on January 27, 2009 at 6:34 am

if you guys actually didn’t tour like the Beatles did, and released quite a lot of songs that weren’t “the best”, maybe you would be there too. i’m pretty sure you guys had enough material for that. but yeah tours + releasing only the better songs for the albums leads to making only 3 albums is 9 years, and that’s ok too. oh yeah and their side projects actually popped after the band broke up, when obviously FM didn’t happened before (and without eventually) breaking the band up and it looks pretty much the same for Dead by Sunrise.

    lots of good reasons, no?

  25. Lobby on January 27, 2009 at 6:31 am

I saw an article that said “LP, the Beatles of the 21st century?”.. Let me find that for you, so you could check it, IMO you are a lot better than the Beatles, they might be more famous, but your albums are bought and bought… YOU guys are true legends and definitely why everyone likes you is the fact that you 6 guys have been together since the first album, when you really made yourselves famous.. PS! Is there going to be any new material with Fort Minor ? I do not mean this or next year, but EVER. The article ( in someones blog):

  26. Shadow on January 27, 2009 at 5:57 am

First of I totally agree with Celestial! Mike, just do the best you can, no panic! 😉 And if you ask me all I can say is: when it comes to your music I have COMPLETE trust in you, Mike. I don’t know what you’re doing when it comes to music but you’re doing it just right. Just my two cents. Looking forward to the new material whenever you guys are ready to share it with the world!

  30. rocksylvie on January 27, 2009 at 3:14 am

Hey, Mike! I haven’t been here for a long time because my sweet girl was ill and I’ve been busy. It’s nice to find you so determined. I adore your music and I know you will never disappoint us. So keep doing what you feel! You always did well! I have to do this, too… to step my shit up. I’m not feeling so lonely anymore. Thanks! And good luck, Mike!

  31. Aditya_the_warrior_within on January 27, 2009 at 3:06 am

ya the beatles were indeed historic … they were revolutionaries in rock music (not to mention succeeded by you :D)
LP is rightfuly today’s generation’s bealtes ….. don’t worry you’ll also get the hang of it 😛
one day the entire world will listen 7 see your concert, even all the crooks and robbers glued to their screens wacthing you guys perform … ya i’m just dreaming such a day happens … and in that concert i also get to meet you via M&G 🙂
just like how it happened years ago when the beatles performed

  34. Mickey on January 27, 2009 at 2:01 am

I’m not necessarily a FAN of the Beatles as I am of Linkin Park, but damn, they did shit out an album a year, didn’t they?
But you know what? Some of you guys may have keeled over from stress, if you should’ve followed their example, simply because you’re all so talented and are doing so many different thing at once. And honestly…I’d rather wait years for a new album than have any of you keel over. It’s enough that Chester’s getting old (haha, sorry man. And I’m older 8P) and his back is being all spastic…we don’t need y’all to stress like crazy people, as well.
Don’t fret, Mike. I don’t mind waiting for your albums…they’re worth the wait.
And I agree with Celestial, by the way.

  35. Dori on January 27, 2009 at 12:10 am

The Beatles are kick-ass, and anyone who doesn’t know that…. haha But, yeah, they cranked shit out, even with all the drugs they were taking in the mid- to late- 60’s. If I’m not mistaken, Mariah Carey did that as well, (minus the drugs) successfully, in the early to mid-90’s. She only cranked out an album a year instead of two or more albums, but still. Of course, we also saw how detrimental this was to her career for a few years in the new millenium. I’m sure that there are more artists, but my brain can’t work that hard at midnight! haha

  36. Ash75 on January 27, 2009 at 12:02 am

  39. BrazenEntity on January 26, 2009 at 10:28 pm

Cool… that’s all I can say. Start in faded red, then switch to olive green, then go to a nice blue… or any combination of that should be nice. you could be a superhero, mike.

  40. Frerard on January 26, 2009 at 10:22 pm

wrong example to be compared to LP.

  41. salome_28 on January 26, 2009 at 10:20 pm

i love seeing you guys perform and i know im not the only one 😉 but the beatles spent 3! years in the studio and yes it helped their musical evolving a great deal, but i dont know about the not performing part..

  42. Celestial on January 26, 2009 at 9:55 pm

Why do people have such a hankering to “be the best”? Why can’t it just be enough to do the best that we know we can do with the time we have? Why do we push ourselves to work for something that can never be obtained. I don’t believe many things are impossible, but I know that perfection is one of the few things that are impossible to attain. Success, for all intensive purposes, is subjective anyway. With that said, I look forward to hearing LP’s new album.

  43. soyuneik on January 26, 2009 at 9:53 pm

  45. Lori on January 26, 2009 at 8:21 pm

haha you can’t mention the beatles without me now automatically thinking of this:
    and then chuckling to myself.
i hate these programmes but i was sitting in on saturday night and watched some tv with my mum – im so glad i seen this live. funniest thing ever.
anyway, yeah….the beatles are awesome! but these days most bands like to take time making an album, and then there’s endless promoton, touring, etc.
lol “i’m going to the studio.”

  46. ShadowerLiltani on January 26, 2009 at 7:32 pm

Wow. That was deep. Um, Mike, honestly, The Beatles were as far as I know interested in one thing, music. You and the other band members are each interested in like, five things at one time. You live in a different time period with more things going on and more opportunities. If you think about it, by taking every side project into consideration, music related or not, you and your band mates have done about three times as much in 8 years that the Beatles did in four. I think this has something to do with your contract, and please, for the love of god don’t stress yourself out like you did with Reanimation, art isn’t supposed to be stressful.

  47. beamer87 on January 26, 2009 at 6:22 pm

HAHAHAHAHA, that is awesome to hear. Mike you gotta remember, these bands back then didn’t stop, they consistently were back in the studio immediately after they would release an album. The Beatles weren’t the only ones, I’m sure you know. Elvis was the same way. I much rather wait a few years for Linkin Park to release one album that is great and truly earns the respect that it deserves after so much hard work. So many factors play into it such as the time period that the Beatles had all of these hits, compared to the modern day in which you are working with. Don’t kill yourself in that studio, it’s just another day at the office, taking your time is what helps truly define a masterpiece.

  48. pepper on January 26, 2009 at 5:34 pm

LOVE to hear that mike!! You guys are great, keep lovin your music and you’ll be puttin those albums out like crazy!!! This next one will be fantastic, and you guys really couldn’t dissapoint us even if you tried lol your too talented! Get in that studio and do your thing!! 😀 I can’t wait to see you guys up at the fron row at PR this year!!!! XD

bit off topic: make sure you guys check out FamilyForce 5 as an option for Projekt Rev this year! they have an incredible and unique sound and are super-fun live!

  49. KATHYxx on January 26, 2009 at 4:25 pm

HAHA lol. And you guys have a four year stretch of….. ……
Yeah. That kinda made me want to pull my hair out. but i still love you guys anyway.

Something tells me to tell you to stop second guessing yourselves. You guys did Qwerty in four days. Your lovely Christmas present to the LPU is cool even though i knew you weren’t’ being serious. There’s evidence of you everywhere that you rock even when you don’t kill yourself on the 8,000,000,000,000th rewrite. Cut it out dude. stop beating yourself up. I know you guys write as much as them Beatles, it’s just that you never release any of it

  50. Wello on January 26, 2009 at 3:29 pm

Don’t you just love inspiration? 🙂 It’s the only thing that keeps me going.

  51. murry on January 26, 2009 at 3:18 pm

That’s crazy. But that’s why they’re the greatest band of all time. Not everybody can be as prolific as the fab four, but I think the whole industry would be best served by returning to the way things were done back then. Everything’s too polished and publicized now. Bands make one album every two years or so and spend millions of dollars promoting it. Making more raw music and letting the cream rise to the top naturally, without the influence of the politics of marketing schemes and advertising seems to be a much healthier process. And look– That music is still as relevant today as it was in the sixties. These kids who say they don’t like The Beatles are crazy.

  52. Lee on January 26, 2009 at 3:14 pm

Don’t forget about the LSD, Mike. That will give you the creative boost you’ll need to get up to the Beatles’ standards, ahah.

    Filler blog, much? Lol.
What’s wrong, couldn’t think of anything else to talk about?
    Lol – I’m kidding.
As a person from the UK, I have to say that the Beatles are cool, but personally I find them to be a little overrated. Just my opinion, however. Though, they did have some good songs.
Not sure I’ll be ‘checking them out’, but thanks for taking the time to recommend them, I guess.
Ignore me – I’m in a grouchy mood!
And, yes… get to that studio, slacker! Lol.
    Have a good day, mate!

  56. RavRule52 on January 26, 2009 at 2:45 pm

finally some good inspiration!!! hahahaha. get that new album rolling!

  57. analoggirl on January 26, 2009 at 2:43 pm

The Beatles also wrote lyrics like “I am the eggman/ oh, they are the eggman/ Oh I am the walrus/ goog goog g’joob.” We wouldn’t want to see LP featured in a “Lyrics in Print” segment, would we? 😉

Keep doing what you’re doing. In the interim, we’ll wait for the album with baited breath. 🙂

  58. Metal_Value on January 26, 2009 at 2:31 pm

That is pretty epic though, seven albums in four years o_O. Like in college me and my class watched a documentary on Nirvana, and apparently their Nevermind album had to be recorded within a week lolz they did it, interesting stuff.

Everyone has their own way of gathering inspiration or “Getting in the zone” I guess mine’s where I like to be in the mood that relates to the song’s genre, like for example if I’m writing a heavy metal song, then angry and pumped, quite a melodic song, then calm and cool xD. Late.

  59. bec on January 26, 2009 at 2:20 pm

I simply have an urge to…. laugh.

Get to work you lazy bums!

  60. YuN_RoCks on January 26, 2009 at 1:37 pm

haha you’re freaking the best XD but I don’t think you’ll be able to release an amount of stuff like that, you and the guys get so dumb and idiot in the studio that lots of “bubbles” kind of songs would come out!

  61. skindesbous on January 26, 2009 at 1:35 pm

I’d like to know how the hell did they do it… GO TO THE STUDIO AND TELL US! =)

  62. lp_fm_fan on January 26, 2009 at 1:33 pm

Ok, go do that! But…please please do not feel super pressured by the fans, I already saw some comments that, if I were you, would make me feel very pressured and I wouldn’t want to disappoint anybody and I’d take so many things at once that would make me insane, remember music is not only a career but supposed to be fun! I wouldn’t want you to make 2-3 albums per year. That’s way too much pressure, LP couldn’t possibly achieve so much, knowing how y’all are perfectionists. :P. I know lots of fans were just kidding though, however I feel a lot weren’t. So don’t take some these comments seriously. ^^ If it wasn’t obvious , my comment is serious. I know y’all know better.

  63. cuz on January 26, 2009 at 1:29 pm

I’ve never could decide what is more likely for artist. Releasing so much or very few. I always kind of felt that releasing just a little is more possibly for artist because of perfectionism and deep insight in himself and the world which he or she must do to make it real. But I’m also impressed when someone can release (it’s not the same as record) so much good music, it’s like, you need to have a lot of inspiration. Hope I didn’t messed too much with this comment 😉

Speaking of lots of albums, I immediately thought about Maryla Rodowicz and learn that it’s not her real name! Dude, I’m dead!!! You need to hug me. Then go to the studio 🙂

  64. Jaclyn on January 26, 2009 at 1:20 pm

YAY! Make awseome music! The Beatles released their albums in the period when there was no internet and protools, it saved their time )))

  65. _AdRiFt_ on January 26, 2009 at 1:17 pm

Trust me–LP is spectacular! You don’t need to sell that many records to be endless. My great-great-great grandchildren will be listening to LP. I will make sure of that. 🙂

So..we can expect 7 albums in the next four years? I’m up for that :D. Good luck guys.

  67. Ruben on January 26, 2009 at 1:04 pm

    Hey Mike!

I’m making an profile for school about the influence of Linkin Park on the popmusic. The Beatles inspired very many artist, but they made their music before you were born. So my question is: what artist did inspire you (and the rest of LP) the most, and do you think your music has influence on other artists?

  68. LPFreak1286 on January 26, 2009 at 1:03 pm

Dude thats awesome, I’ve thought about that before. You know how long it takes you guys to do an album which is fine because you guys put out quality music. But when you announced that you guys were already going into the studio I was happy to see you guys stepping it up and getting back into making music right away. Thanks for working so hard to make good music.

  69. MS_Ineedyou on January 26, 2009 at 12:50 pm

Yeah Mike !! Woo !! Go to the studio and make some amazing music 🙂 I have already stepped up before this post becuase i literally wrote like seven pretty good songs in one day … So yay for me too 🙂

  70. Madlen on January 26, 2009 at 12:46 pm

Hello Mike. I’ve heard that you like to listen Dido. Watch this video. It makes you really laughing.;o) It’s from Czechs singing competition “SuperStar”. This girl interpreted Dido. It’s really funny! ;o) Let’s see it: and

  72. Joie on January 26, 2009 at 12:23 pm

Yeah, go make some GREAT MUSIC..I agree with Deftones06, we really need the album this year 🙂

  73. Alexandra1984 on January 26, 2009 at 12:21 pm

Of all men’s miseries the bitterest is this: to know so much and to have control over nothing because Circumstances rule men; men do not rule circumstances(Herodotus saying)…..

  74. ManBearPig on January 26, 2009 at 12:19 pm

True, but you mustn’t forget they were probably high as kites half the time. Anyone can put together those many albums if you don’t sleep for days on end and still have the energy of a horny teenager. But whatever impetus it is, it’s always good to see you going back in studio. Maybe growing some Ringo-style mutton chops will help?

  75. Deftones06 on January 26, 2009 at 12:16 pm

Yeah let’s go to work! XD I can’t even imagine how hard it would be if we have to wait 2010 for the next album…so please a new album this year…^^

  77. EpilepticChickenScratch on January 26, 2009 at 12:11 pm

“We all need to step our shit up. I’m going to the studio.” lmfao, wow. Haven’t you been there, though?

  78. lucky_cat on January 26, 2009 at 12:10 pm

LOL … yea, amazing, considering they hadn’t all that technical equipment that you have today … but, hey, we’re talking about THE BEATLES … they still kick your ass 🙂

  79. NeneLP88 on January 26, 2009 at 12:10 pm

Were you looking for literally “something” and you found Something by the Beatles? haha XD

However, that’s exactly the way I react when people tell me about university exams and stuff.. good grades and so on..

I need to pass this damn exams. I’m off to study.

(too bad my convictions don’t last for more than few hours.)

  80. Daga280 on January 26, 2009 at 12:05 pm

  82. durg on January 26, 2009 at 11:58 am

hahaha, i love how determined you sound, like FUCK THIS! LP ALBUM DEADLINE HAS JUST BEEN MOVED UP BITCHES, LETS GET TO WORK. XDD

  83. Kalini on January 26, 2009 at 11:56 am

HAHA! You have to see the list of the albums between 1981 – 1987 of Depeche Mode – 6 great albums (even with changes in the band). During their first 10 years they released 7 albums and they had a long break only because of the tour in the U.S. 1988 – 1989, but they’ve released singles during that time. It was the time when they weren’t busy with their solo projects. Mike, I know that you needed time for your FM’s album and Chester wants to make his album perfect. It’ll be more than great if LP releases a new album this year. I really can’t see how you’d manage to make GLXS Dies and a new LP album this year. I do hope that you could manage with both tasks. KK
    EDIT: 1965 – 1969 – 5 years.

  84. Noe_Kenji on January 26, 2009 at 11:54 am

    yo Mike!
lol its crazy! in only 4 years!!!
But i think that its not realy important, i think that is better to realease one album and wait 4 years for the next if the album is so good that you can listen to it while 4 years, than an mediocre album every year…

Oh yeah, ive attended (after 20 hours in my car…) the artshow in barcelona! ive some nice picts here is the link!

  85. Sonia_LPrnway_ on January 26, 2009 at 11:50 am

wow! i’ve never noticed the release dates before! that’s some great inspiration, hmm? 🙂

and yes, go to the studio! chop chop. 😛

  86. PankakeMunky on January 26, 2009 at 11:47 am

i always think it’s crazy how they made a huge impact on the music world with their albums and the number of sucessful albums they had. i don’t think any other band i know has had that many huge abums

  87. Trenskinoda on January 26, 2009 at 11:44 am

All I can say is YESSSSS!!!! (plus a little wish that the new album will be out soon) 🙂

  88. LPROCKS on January 26, 2009 at 11:44 am

Yes please we would love to see that pattern in LP, two albums per year!!!

  89. nikkiann0100 on January 26, 2009 at 11:32 am

Your last sentence is like music to my ears. just kidding. Yea, I like Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band too. Its hard to believe that was so long ago.

  90. Doggie24690 on January 26, 2009 at 11:28 am

For real man, goddamn inspirational legends. Do work.

  91. AilinaAnn on January 26, 2009 at 11:27 am

  92. Raspberry on January 26, 2009 at 11:27 am

  93. miKer0cks on January 26, 2009 at 11:22 am

OMLP Mike!!! Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and Yellow Submarine my personal favourites from Beatles!!! 😀 It’s nice to see you like them too 🙂 They are really a cool band 🙂

Off to the studio huh? Nice!!! I love it when you guys say you’re going to the studio or you are in the studio, it’s great to see you’re working on teh new stuff 😀 Btw…a bit earlier in a greek radio station they played In the end, and the producer was Kostas Petasis (Chaz and Phi must remember him), he was the one who interviewed them when you guys came in Greece last summer…And after the song he said ” Linkin Park one of the greatest bands in the world” Isn’t that great? We love you here 😀

  94. rockermeg on January 26, 2009 at 11:19 am

Mike no-one is expecting you to get that much done.
You are so amazing, but The Beatles were The Beatles and their songs are very very different to yours
Pleease don’t strain yourself; we all know how hard you work and you come out with amazing stuff
Yes, they are people to look up to it’s true. We’d all like to release stunning albums like those in that time but I would have rather released Hybrid Theory. That album will go down in history, trust me.
Don’t push yourself too hard; The Beatles were English after all :p (that’s the secret behind their awesomness!)
But you guys are THE BEST BAND EVER!!!
