As seen, in 4 years they created 7 succesfully(?) ablums.
I think, why they could do that is because their (lets say) first 2 albums where major milestone.
With the succes they created in that small amount of time people just couldnt get enough of it so they were pretty save to create another album. My opinion about that is that not ANY KIND of band should do that because of the great danger that lies beneath called critics and ”milking out”. IMO LP was even possible to do that after HT, but you guys maybe would ruined yourself. If your are familiar with The beatles, how do those albums sound like? All the same or different?

It’s just a rumor and the organizers haven’t confirmed anything yet, just said they’ve discussed a festival like that. Is it even possible to see LP touring in July? It sounds pretty unlikely.

I’m not a musician, aside from being able to play a few chords and keys, but I’ve never written a song, definitely not an album so I don’t know how the song making process is. I know I remember watching an interview with Kings Of Leon and they wrote two albums in two or three years I believe, but that wasn’t them saying we need to write as much as possible, that’s just how it happens. I think it’s different for every band.

and truthfully, (even though I LOVE the Beatles), i actually prefer listening to Linkin Park, a whole lot more =] But that might be because i’m only 13, so i wasn’t alive during the Beatles’ highest point in success so i’m not really aware of how popular they really were.
(ps. this is really random, but i envy you for living in california. it’s FREEZING in texas! it’s like 15 degrees :( )
