Hey……Mike!!!! Did you enjoy your Easter???? Hope you have…..
These artworks are really adorable and your sense of understanding them too is fabulous.
Curiosa on April 14, 2009 at 11:05 am
Hey there, hope you had a good Easter. I’ve seen the woman’s pose in “…Never Forget You…” before, either in a painting or a drawing in a mythology book, can’t remember. I see he’s been influenced by Mythology. I do love “Hell has no fury…” lol Very true.
His artwork reminds me of Josephine Wall’s artwork except his is very obvious where Wall’s artwork is very fluent & subtle. Her’s mesh together. Sorry but I prefer her artwork mostly because everytime I look at 1 of her pieces I always see something new. tc

Hello! I am new to the thread. Usually a lurker. I would like permission to paint “Persona Non Grata” on the bottom of my pool. However, I don’t know how to obtain permission for personal, non-commercial use. Everything I have read on-line says to ask the artist. So, here it goes, May I have permission to paint “Persona Non Grata” on the bottom of my pool for personal, non commercial use? If there is a better way to go about this, please let me know. Thank you.

I also see some japanese and greek influence. And lots of water 🙂
My faves: the first after the jump and the last but one.
And somehow some of the paintings remind me of the “Sleepy Hollow” movie. Weird, but they just do…
liope on April 14, 2009 at 12:14 am
Hmm.. i see alot of japanesse influence and one greek (it’s the 6th one) 😛 I also see that the most of the characters are despaired…but generaly all the paintings look nice!! 🙂

I’m impressed, really. And right now I don’t know what more to say. “This Is The End” – if I had the money, I would buy it.
Sintia on April 13, 2009 at 12:44 pm
I really like the 3rd one. But I have noticed that it has alot of water involved in most of the art work….not bad.
Thanks for sharing Mike. Hope all is good with LP & family.
rockermeg on April 13, 2009 at 10:50 am
I agree with DURG. You guys need to do some world tours with your art.
I love their stuff. Popart but with more detail. Quite diverse 🙂

The guy with the mic on the couch looks like you back in the day. Do you know something about that?

Corey is great too! Thanks much for the photos, I hoped to see more pieces of this art show. The second piece is unique. Love the background of the second from the end and how he paints the water. Btw, there’s no tag on the second photo. Thanks for sharing again. Happy Easter 🙂

Very nice paintings Mike! I like most the one with the 3 women and the 2nd before the end with the ghosts – souls. But all the paintings have great colors. At these 2 paintings that I mentioned, I like very much the mix of the different types of the blue color. It has intensely the “element” of night and I like it very much!
DinaraLP on April 13, 2009 at 3:17 am
I didn’t see the style like this earlier! I like this paintings! Really! They are so….interesting because of their mixing colours and shapes…handsome…
