I do see there’s the professional papz whose @ red carpet events or ne kind of event going on & there’s stalkerazzi who invade the privacy of celebs personal life. I do sumwat agree wit crystalrussianla xcept for that the celebs make money off of the papz. Most of the money that papz make goes to the tabloids & themselves but not 2 that celeb unless there is sum kind of deal w’em. But also it keeps them in the papers. Sum use papz & sum dont. I don’t agree with this Papz @ all!! From what I last heard that there trying to make a law for the papz invading privacy & chasing ’em in cars jus to get pics of ’em. That is why I luv LP, FM cuz you don’t really see ’em in da gossip mags or news

They seriously think what they’re doing is good…
That was ridiculous:
“Can you leave her alone?” “Can she take a picture?” “No” “Then I can’t leave her alone”
That’s just stupid. At least he wasn’t being agressive, but he was being an ass.

Just as I suspected, that paparazzo was a total dick. And I’d say it’s safe to assume they all are total dicks.

Paparazzis should go burn in hell. What gives them the right to treat someone like an object, just because they’re celebrities? Celebrities have to right to a private life outside the spotlight. Being a singer, actor or whatever is a job. When to job is done, you go home, and you’re just you. They have families to tend to, maybe kids. It’s private space.
People, don’t buy the kind of magazines that post pictures like that. No income for the magazines = no pay to the paparazzis = no more paparazzis.

Shinoda~ thank you guys for giving us a wonderful show in Taipei and money donation from MFR for Taiwan flood disaster. We do appreciated!!! And one more thing, just wanna tell you this disaster of my heart, do you know why it’s just 2 fans join the M&G in Taipei? cause BBH they screw up. They told us M&G is after concert to wait in front of Heineken booth….. now I really wanna kill myself, suicide for missing the chance to see you face to face… 😥
Curiosa on August 13, 2009 at 8:25 am
I have mixed feelings about this. There r those celebs that try their best 2 stay out of site of the paparazzi even 2 the point of moving away from LA/Hollywood. The pap should respect them & leave them alone especialy if it means puting other people’s lives at risk. Then theres the likes of Britney & Lindsey who go 2 clubs, restaurants, etc. that r known 2 b swarming w/pap & yet they stil go so imo they’re fair game cause they’re puting themselves in that position. It bcomes a prob when inocent peoples lives are put n danger. I get what ur saying though & how it relates 2 ur art 🙂 true
PS: heard I mised u on TMZ. Darn I wanted 2 hear what funy things they said about u. 😛 lol TC 🙂

Correct reasons is needed for this complex paparazzi issue , if they has excess that can be a great assets , like physical, personality, ability or talent who make a lot of people admired , it seems they must be ready to be followed by a bunch of un known people who carry a camera, like it or not !!
NOTE : stand up for LAhunter 😉

LPmadman on August 12, 2009 at 11:26 pm
aah paparazzi ..yes indeed they might disrupt but according to me they have reason to do that .. this is my two estimate.. first is professional paparazzi they usually do it for money and second is for ‘unprofessional’ paparazzi they usually do it coz very difficult to not be interested to ‘something’ amazingly beautiful and unique especially if that ‘something’ is very different from the other 🙂 .. well thats only my opinion !!
ThePrincess on August 12, 2009 at 9:30 pm
Speaking abt paparazzi is a bit complicated !! .. well indeed very frustrating if a bunch of people that we don’t know are suddenly disrupt and seize our personal rights for their interest and enjoyment without realize that it is very harmful but every choice of life is surely have a consequence !! , so i guess.. think positive and stay calm is the most wise thing to do coz if we give a feedback they will take more advantage !!
NOTE : skip to 5:30 ish ???? 😀

Those people have a really weird conception of what is right. While listening to this guy talk I was thinking about how he would react if he was the famous one and someone was taking pictures of him.I guess it’s a whole other expierence to be on the other side of the camera…but I guess he never really thinks about that whether it’s because it makes his job easier or because he doesn’t want to face the facts.Anyway being followed all the time, people taking picture of you all the time must really put a lot of stress on celebrities. My guess is that people simply forget that celebrities are people too…Thank you for the link.
StrangeGirl1 on August 12, 2009 at 12:21 pm

TaylorKenjiLP on August 12, 2009 at 11:40 am
its all sick. something that a profession shouldnt be made out of. i understand fans taking pictures of someone famous, hell, where else would the attention come from? but people getting paid to take pictures for the fans? how is that a job?? you call that a life? theyre living off someone elses talent. and half the celebs out there are talentless and wouldnt be popular without the paparazzi anyways! if someone wants to be famous, hire a publicist. dont use the paparazzi

xomusicmaniac94 on August 12, 2009 at 9:33 am
I one way, it’s horrible how celebrities are stalked by paparazzi. Yet on the other hand, that’s what makes a person a celebrity, no? Not saying that i agree with it, but i can understand where the photographers are coming from. Although I really dislike how they take pictures of the children. It’s horrible. What’s amazing is how some celebrities manage to live a fairly normal life while others are followed constantly; yet i suppose that’s because the high-profile ones are always doing something that makes them end up in magazines, thus resulting in more paparazzi attention. Whatever the case, this certainly ties in with your artwork, huh Mike?
Kalini on August 12, 2009 at 9:07 am
Thanks for the link! It was interesting to hear how the paparazzi are waiting for the celebrities to go out for lunch and start taking photos of them and their kids. Couldn’t the celebrities live a normal life at all? I’m glad that they mentioned what happened to Princess Diana. Her case should never be forgotten. Do you agree with the comparison of the paparazzi with the photo journalists? Do you agree that they do the same job, as all of them take photos of the people without getting their permission? K

Paparazzi is very controvential job. They create fame obsession but also that obsession creates them.
On a non-related topic, I heard about earthquake in Japan yesterday. First thought that came to my mind was “guys are there!”. I don’t know where exactly that was but hope you are all safe. Plus yesterday was exactly half a year after your birthday which means it was my birthday 🙂 We’re both born on the 11th and it’s 11 years between us. Nice, isn’t it? Stay safe and have a nice day 🙂

that is really f***ed up. i know that when a person is famous, they are probably going to have their picture taken a lot more than usual, and they should probably prepare for it. but i mean seriously, some of the things that the paparazzi do are just plain stupid. they do need to make a living, but i mean seriously, there are probably better ways of going about that. have you ever had a problem with this mike?

_RaBBiTKa on August 12, 2009 at 5:17 am
This is sad, but it’s paparazzi’s job to take pictures. Don’t get me wrong, I know it must be difficult for all the famous people who don’t want to be photographed constantly, but one cannot prevent this from happening. When one decides (if he/she just decides) to go into show-business, one should know what one enters in. This means being surrounded by paparazzis for life. But of course I cannot even slightly imagine what it would be like to be “attacked” like this all the time, I just know that I wouldn’t want to live like that.

Bet that guy would not go to a war zone though ! Photojournalists are covering NEWS, something like uh… Chester walking around Berlin with his wife and son is not news even to us LP fans ! check it out Chester was Papped in Berlin and in Paris http://www.zimbio.com/pictures/U52QQZmDik_/Chester+Bennington+Family+Berlin/cKFSWU3SG4Y/Chester+Bennington
Come on, poor little Tyler should not have to grow up with that. Chester is a Rock singer take a picture of him on stage singing ! Oh but it won’t make $ if it don’t look like a police Surveillance or Stalker photo !!!
miKer0cks on August 12, 2009 at 1:16 am
Hm well yeah I’d love to listen to it but it doesn’t play for me 😦 Anyways, from the comments below i can imagine it has to do with paparazzis and stuff…I’ll try a bit later to listen to it again. I hope it works. 🙂 fingers crossed
PS. Just read about “peace day”. It’s a worldwide musical event about world peace! Something like Live Earth and Live8. It’d be cool to see LP take part 🙂 The show will be held on September 21st
EDIT: Yes! Finally got to listen to it! Well it’s definetely super annoying to have paparazzis follow you everywhere. And wbu Mike? How do you feel/react when paparazzis follow you everywhere? I mean, yeah it’s definetely annoying but just ingoring them works?
linkinparc on August 12, 2009 at 1:10 am
Where do I have to click???
however about the paparazzis: I had the thought that celebs should follow (at the beginning to see if its worth) one paparazzi wherever he goes. To his house/flat, to the toilet, and on the street he wouldnt be able to make one step without being pushed and flashed from all the sides.
That would be cool so they can feel how it is to be followed and they might take the lesson or atleast the celebs have fun. I would love to do that… Fight the “enemy” with his own weapons
Keres on August 12, 2009 at 12:11 am
I’ve never really liked the paparazzi. I understand they’re around to fill the demand for information about “the celebrity” that society has come to enjoy, but it’s become too much. The demand on celebrities in general I think has gotten to be too much. For example, Jasmine You the bassist for the Japanese metal band Versailles died on Aug. 9th. In a statement the band made they asked if they could please postpone activity as of now (they were working on a new ablum due in Sept.). Maybe they were just being polite, but I thought it was alittle upsetting they felt they had to ask to postpone activities. A close friend just died, they shouldn’t be expected to work on the album now.

it’s such a complex issue – on one hand the paparazzi are not only a danger to celebrities, but to innocent people on the roads. when britney spears was in the middle of her meltdown i thought the amount of media attention was disgusting, but then on the other hand she (like many) obviously craves the attention. a couple of years ago i used to buy loads of tabloid magazines but now i won’t go near them. it’s the same with people like lindsay lohan – her life is a constant train wreck and i cringe when i see images of her crying outside nightclubs. i feel sorry for celebrities who obviously don’t want to be photographed, some prove you can be an actor without your face in every tabloid.

Talking about papparazzi.. Unfortunately when you are that famous-there’s a lot of fanatics who think the’re in love with you and wants to know everything about your personal life. That’s why newspapers with such a pictures are selling so well.Hard to understand it 😦
Mike is doing a great job to avoid such a fanaticism. Writing this blog makes a connection between fans and the band – makes us(fans) feel important in your life too. Thanks for reading our opinions and for respect

Not playing for me.
But regarding Alyesak’s link, saying being famous has an “unwritten agreement” to be photographed anywhere is like saying being [insert wrong skin color, religion, or occupation] has an “unwritten agreement” to being harassed. I do not find it ironic that the papparazzi in the article tends to make the same apologetic excuses as any other liar and bigot. People seem to go to great lengths to make themselves feel better by revising their own moral code if it’s more convenient for them to.

I was going through my vinyl and found the “Under a Blood Red Sky” mini LP. I’m the friend type that gives shit away. But you haven’t invented blog teleportation yet so we’re screwed. ;C0 I do not care what other peoples babies look like. I really don’t want the visual of Tom Cruise eating placenta taking up my precious brain cells either. I’d like to think that when I get off work there won’t be any asshole customers following me home and stalking me. I can relate, I can understand, and its fucked up. But things have a sort of fucked up balance. I’ve never had real control or freedom to begin with. Granted there aren’t people sitting outside my..oh! thats wrong and I’m not even famous!
