Yo Gabba Gabba, Habitat, and Music For Relief

August 13, 2010

As some of you will remember, Music For Relief and Linkin Park has started funding a Habit For Humanity green home in the L.A. area.  HFH provides housing to families in need who qualify for their program. In many cases, the homes are given to a parents and children who would have otherwise never been able to afford one.  Plus, our MFR/ HFH home is LEED certified, which will mean less burden on the environment as well as the family that occupies it.

Yesterday, as a result of a random and amazing chain of events, the cast of Yo Gabba Gabba visited our site to take some pictures and talk about Habitat For Humanity.  Apparently, they are going on tour, and donating $1 for every ticket to HFH.  Awesome!

If it’s good enough for DJ Lance Rock, it’s good enough for you…we need your help. Please donate to the green home HERE.

Yo gabba gabba freaks me out a little bit. I watched with my 4 years old niece . Of course i watched it in spanish it must be so different in english. Anyway she loves it.

The song with the talking carrot was very kawaii, a lot better than kesha’s tik tok =_=

BTW, we have bigger pictures at http://www.mikeshinodaclan.com for the folks asking for them.

Is it because of the charity, the wheelbarrow, the cast of Yo Gabba Gabba, or all three of them?

    Keep it up!🙂

    P. S
    Was the wheelbarrow comfortable?😀

  32. shinigamipwn on August 13, 2010 at 12:13 pm

Perched in a wheelbarrow wearing flannel? Lovely. At first I thought you were trying some sort of grunge look.. now you just look plain redneck. HAH.

Also, Although those characters are nightmare worthy in my opinion, they’re doing a great thing.🙂

I still insist that Linkin Park goes on Sesame Street, but, a photo with Yo Gabba Gabba is a start. I had a class of kids one year that were OBSESSED with Yo Gabba Gabba.

LOL, and that even brought along their safety hats, how cute!

but i have a problem, the pre-order album displayed the cost is $24.99, but when my dad was about to purchase for me, it shows the totally cost is $49 with a strange product. I had no idea, and my dad just won’t let me have it…help …T^T
