I have to say I’m glad to see there are still artists like this in the world who go that extra mile(though I sure as hell wouldn’t do it,not with OCD).I would like to dub her one of the latter “mad artists” though I don’t think it would be right lol.I was talking with my uncle about this, but its sad to think there aren’t enough people who take notice of this kinda work and art in general anymore. Kinda weird to think hundreds of years ago that art, creative and ingenuitive(sitting in museums now),was rampant and the norm.Thousands of years ago, massive architectual feats we can’t replicate today with “advanced” technology. What do we have now to captivate?Superbowl Sunday,MTV,porn?Sad.

Holy crap! That looks amazing! I want that in my room!. I wonder how long and how many markers it takes to draw that over every wall in a room. It must be exhausting. It looks really good, though.

This is so awesome! I love that illusion of depth and space!😀 And speaking of art i’d like to saw you something i did a few days ago http://scalliope.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2yavt2 it’s my interpretation of how Linkin Park would look like if they were the Gorillaz🙂

I want my room like that, but maybe I hurt her head in a few minutes, besides my mother scream in horror if it were to paint the walls so. (Sniff sniff)😦

Do you ever get dizzy when you walk on stuff like that? There was some gallery I was in once, years and years ago (maybe when I was still in Georgia), where they had this funky floor design and I kept walking like I was trying to make up for all the curves and what not. So much fun!

Oh, btw, a while back I got sent these photos of custom staircases, very impressive stuff. One of the staircases is all dizzy like: http://theartbook35.webs.com/apps/blog/show/3384744-awesome-staircase-designs

I totally want to live in a house with on my walls, and staircases like those.

You know seeing the word permanent marker I thought I’m not going to like it but it’s actually pretty amazing…it looks 3D to me😀

  23. madshell on September 9, 2010 at 2:57 pm

acrylic – my fav medium :3 are the floors bumpy/3d? they dont look so from up close… u’ll go insane if u live in one of these rooms!

  24. lpwouter on September 9, 2010 at 2:42 pm

Weird, I had this kind of art as an assignment for college, I study Graphic Engeneering. It’s really hard to make because each line has to be handdrawn really close to another.

  25. melbapinckney on September 9, 2010 at 1:58 pm

That’s odd, but awfully beautiful. I can’t stop looking at the photos, it’s amazing!
