Burning In The Skies is our latest single (outside the US). Here’s the new video, directed by our own Joe Hahn. Enjoy.

beautiful video. conform to the times we live in.
betty108 on March 12, 2011 at 8:10 pm
Love it. I just wish that BITS would be released as a single in the US as well, it’s my favorite song from ATS…
Yet the selfish part in me wants the US to get a different single, so we can get another music video >:)
What can I say? Linkin Park makes me greedy.
Chester on March 8, 2011 at 3:05 am
i feel like the video for this song could have been a lot better. definately not the best vid ive seen from you guys but keep at it and im sure there will be even better ones in the near future.

Nice! I will share this on facebook.

Please mike, no more joe hahn. Old videos were good, but last album’s videos are horrible!!
millalp94 on February 26, 2011 at 5:04 am
When I first saw the video, I was very surprised, because I din’t expect a video like this one…it’s very different than the other videos before…
But the more I see it, more I like it….:)
I really think it’s a great video. Joe did a great Job again:)
kalinik on February 26, 2011 at 3:16 am
Amazing video! The best video from the “A Thousand Suns” Album so far. Joe Hahn has done a great job! BTW, very nice lyrics! Kalini
emirandakey on February 26, 2011 at 12:55 am
i love this video a lot… well beside “Burning In The Skies” is the song in ATS i love the most… good job, even perfect :D
thegluelpfan on February 25, 2011 at 6:16 pm
I like the video even thought it’s kind of different from what I expected from you guys :D But still I like it…
brysislupin on February 25, 2011 at 12:58 pm
Knowing that Hahn did it just makes him more special!
The videoclip wasn´t what I expected, I wanted more of the band and not the random ppl but I guess that you guys (like you once said Mike, about Fort Minor) just want us to concentrate on the music and not in you and I respect and understand that!
I promisse to love and support anything you do
Claudia B. on February 25, 2011 at 12:51 pm
At first I didn’t know how to react at those sites which have shown the video a couple of days ago. I wondered why you haven’t said anything about the premiere even at those countries.
The video isn’t what I had expected. I imagined, there would be more of the band & the people would be shown periodically. Not the other way around. I think the concept is brilliant, it really fits in with ATS. The ending of the video and the concept are what I love the most. The beginning is rather sloppy, but that was the idea, I guess.
Generally I like the video. It’ll probably take me time to get used to it. Anyway tell Joe that he deserves major respect for experimenting
faiththompson20 on February 25, 2011 at 10:47 am
i’m not sure about this one, good video but i don’t think it works with the song

it was good, but i cant see you guys playing…
danymonik on February 25, 2011 at 9:49 am
I expect to see the rest of the song in videos as good as this. The album is a whole story and I see the videos as well. I assume that the videos order is the same the songs in the album. It’s nice to see all three videos: Burning In The Skies, Waiting For The End and The Catalyst as a movie XD….I just don’t get enough of you, guys…. Besos :)
zzaacc on February 25, 2011 at 8:44 am
wow…i didnt like it. as much as i love u guys and your work, this video just didnt tickle my fancy(lol) when i watch music videos i generally like them if they suit the song, or have their own message that goes alongside the lyrics and i didnt see either. i know the video has a message, i just couldnt link it. it just made me sad lol
sorry for the negative comment as im sure you poured heart and soul into this, its just not for me.
wretches and kings, blackout of Iriddescent i think should be up next imo
linkinparkforever275 on February 25, 2011 at 8:20 am
its very different from the other videos before, but i really like this video! It reminds me a bit of Waiting for the End when you guys appeared during the end! Great Job Joe!!
sagback on February 25, 2011 at 7:47 am
I think You should use any other movies or videos as a clip video instead of doing the video ..It was only lost of time … I dont like it :( Our expectation was increased by you w/doing amazing and unique videos …
sorry Mike :( (Just ,I like listening the song .I dont afford to say anything the song :)
3infinity on February 25, 2011 at 7:34 am
You guys are lucky to have someone as great as Joe in your band, a truly wonderful video!!!!!

My vision: the innocence of a child, a loving couple, a man who lost a loved one, a family watching something bad on TV, people who think only about the party, such vanity of wanting to be increasingly slim, a young student. People of all ages, much or little life to live. ► ♪ “What do not deserve the” ♫
The band (love): Chester overdramatic, Mike is bad with the guitar, Rob does not leave the battery to the end, Joe is the more normal lol
oops! I did not see Brad or Phoenix, I’ll watch again.
cieloperfecto on February 25, 2011 at 6:21 am
I was surprised when I saw the video for the first time; I didn’t expect that, I thought it would be different. However, after watching it several times I think it’s great! In fact I’m moved because of it. The slow motion scenes match perfectly with the verses of such breathtaking song and the story is very good narrated. In my opinion it’s an excellent music video. I like it a lot. You’ve done an amazing job, guys!!!
mikeecem on February 25, 2011 at 6:17 am
First, i love it this video clip. Burning In The Skies is a pungent song because BITS is telling real… And you’Ve given the messages, congratulations :)
I’m proud of me because i’m a Linkin Park fan. This is the right way. You are absolutely gorgeous.
In my humble opinion : Linkin Park varied, this video no like other LP videos. But can you seem mostly Linkin Park videos? So you’re charismatic in video clip like a handsome prince :))
Love, God save you.

Yeah,I will watch this as soon as I reach home tomorrow.
Have a nice day.

adiek84 on February 25, 2011 at 1:27 am
Wow, that’s what you call mixed reviews! I love how the video depicts the last moments of humans’ life with all their problems, heartache and activities, and then everything just blows up. The explosion scene is so amazingly done. It’s such a sublime moment, you know that it’s killing everyone, but atthe same time it almost looks beautiful. I love how you’re actively creating an “A Thousand Suns” era by carrying its themes to the live shows and videos as well. Next album will bring different videos, I’m sure of that.

A little more facetime of the band would have been nice. but it’s a great video all the same.
Julian on February 25, 2011 at 1:06 am
This video is too abstract and it kept us in the LPA spinning our heads. A lot of non-common-listeners found this even more abstract as they don’t have a clue of the concept behind the song/album. I know you guys like to leave space for fans to think but really this time you should elaborate the video.
I feel like there’s gonna be a follow-up to this video, tell me it’s true. =P

spraypaintninkpens on February 24, 2011 at 10:25 pm
Really? It’s not that good. Seems to be a theme with LP lately. Just not that good.
rockymtnbrenda on February 24, 2011 at 10:08 pm
I think it’s a powerful video. It is slow at the beginning, but then you get it and it’s moving. Love this song too. Wretches and Kings next?
EpicLinkinPark on February 24, 2011 at 9:00 pm
The symbolism matched the words so perfectly. I personally think the message is about losing our childhood/teenagehood as we grow up and Making new decisions as past ones are lost. I totally understood the message in the video and the video was well done. It captured real life events that happens and that made it look realistic. I liked this video alot. I also felt strong emotions with the gentleman sitting at the coffee table with a picture of his loved one and it hurts to know they are not there. It really was a symbolic video, I enjoyed it. Hope all is well Mike, Take care and I had a blast at the concert in L.A. and it was nice meeting you at the rest of the guys. :)

cincybmxlpfreak on February 24, 2011 at 8:10 pm
Interesting…totally not what I expected. It’s suuuuuper slow mo when it’s definitely a song that makes me want to move. Hopefully it’ll grow on me…I gotta watch it more. I’m so glad you guys are releasing this song, though. It’s my #2 favorite song on “A Thousand Suns.” Now I’m waiting for “Wretches & Kings.”
emakira89 on February 24, 2011 at 8:02 pm
Great Vid!! Follow the original idea from ATS videos, I like it, but I have a question, stole this video some asshole and put it online on Tuesday? Or what?
boger7lp on February 24, 2011 at 7:41 pm
I liked the beginning but improved to end
and visual effects are similar to “Waiting For The End”
Hann leave much to be desired
Shay Adams on February 24, 2011 at 7:32 pm
I really love this video. Very beautiful ^_^ Joe never disappoints!
Alexandra Nofi on February 24, 2011 at 7:31 pm
It has a slow start, and it is kind of random. It’s not until the “sparkly” bomb goes off that the general message seems to come through. I do feel like the people Joe showed are a tad mainstream. It wasn’t realistic enough for me. The album is meant to be about us as humans, and, this was more about the cute kid camping in his backyard, the stressed out college girl, the jocks partying and the woman who doesn’t like her body. While these types of people do exist, they reach a very limited group. I’m not touched by them, nor do I have any sympathy for them.
The general demographic of the video bugs me a bit too. A few Asians, but no Africans. Any particular reason for that?
