MFR T-Shirts To Benefit Japan

March 14, 2011

Based on the voting, it seems you guys liked both designs for the MFR t-shirt…so we decided to do both!

They are now for sale on the official Linkin Park web store. Proceeds from these t-shirts will be donated to Music for Relief to help survivors of the 8.9 magnitude earthquake in Japan and subsequent tsunami.

Click here to purchase: http://linkinpark.shop.bravadousa.com/Dept.aspx?cp=40873_42463

You can also also text ‘MFR’ to 85944 to donate $10 to Tsunami Relief or click here to donate online.

NOTE: The butterfly design WILL be offered in men’s sizes as well! Stay tuned!

    Thank you

I have held off from purchasing a shirt since they have been available purely because it’s such a difficult decision to choose between shirts.
If I manage to come up with the money for both, I would love to get them both.
If you could recommend a shirt or have a preference, it’s not too late (:
I admire what you are doing for the cause, it is inspiring and so amazing.
Thank you for designing these shirts and selling them for such an overwhelming cause and also making it so easy and cool to donate toward the Japanese Earthquake Relief Fund.

I hate to be a cheap-ass knowing that this is all for a good cause, but why are there taxes added to a product that is for charity/relief?
I’m in California where it seems like even donations are taxed…
I want a t-shirt and I want to help but I refuse to pay taxes on a product donation. Argh. I know it’s not your fault… just needed to vent about it.

I’m glad you decided to do both! It will definitely encourage more to donate, because I am sure people are basing their donation on what shirt they like more. Personally, I would’ve bought one anyways because the same message is carried for both shirts when I wear it on the street.

I’m a tad “hyped” up because I got back from a rally in New Haven about the budget cuts which are laying off workers in the community. For example, the layoffs of over 100 police officers. First of all, you don’t touch my community, and secondly, you don’t touch the officers who have protected me and my mother on more than one occasion. My point: You would’ve loved this rally :)

Love that the butterfly one is for girls – very pretty :-)

  30. Kevin Waldhof on March 14, 2011 at 1:50 pm

Really? The butterfly t-shirt is girls? I’m seriously disappointed, I was looking forward to getting it. I’ll donate my money to the MFR fund but not for a t-shirt I’ll never wear.
