Linkin Park Teams Up With Lotus F1 To Create “Linkin Park GP”

May 21, 2012

We have teamed up with the Lotus F1 Team to create “Linkin Park GP.” This is more than just a racing game for your iPad. In “Linkin Park GP,” players drive a Lotus E20 F1 car and interact with a 360° environment to create an original remix of “BURN IT DOWN.” As you accelerate and move through the app, audio tracks and live effects are mixed in real time to respond to your actions. This allows users to actually zoom into sections of the song, even into individual instruments.

The free app is available for download on iPad starting Thursday, May 24. Watch the trailer for the app below.

But Miiiike…Y U NO release your apps on Android?? You know there are also people on android who happen to love LP… if it would come to android, it would be the app of the century, my favourite band, and my favourite F1 team in one…but like this…it’s just another iElitist stuff by your guys…just like 8bit…I accepted the fact that you guys probably won’t ever come to Hungary where I live, but this wouldn’t take anything from you…

Wow, this sounds pretty awesome! I don’t have an iPad, but everyone who has will have a lot of fun with the app. Don’t you have another one to giveaway? I’ll even take an old one with a broken display…XD
By the way, I think the fans should do a little scevenger hunt with the band. During one of the next concerts, you’ll have to follow our clues to find the audience. Now that would be funny!

This is probably the most unique marketing tool I have ever seen. Makes me almost wish I have an iPad, lol.
