Maybe I’m too sensitive, but this is sad. What’s worse is that if there’s any pressure to fix it, companies will just take advantage and further exploit those regions of the world to keep them in perpetual poverty. :*(

is that a remix of “divided”? i like it. you should leak that sometime.

what a sad sad world it will be when the third world uses cleaner, more efficient and renewable electricity than the first.

Love this video. I love the idea to show the people the problem using habitual methods like art. I was so excited about it, that I’ve created my own art with Imani to support #POWERTHEWORLD. Could you please check it out?

Great post. A coworker had the chance to contribute to something similar in http://www.agirlstory.org/

Main reason for posting – you’re a big inspiration, man. I look at a lot of people as markers for success, and you’re a big name on that list. Hope you keep making awesome music and artwork… oh, and inspiring the people following in your footsteps (whether or not those are musical footsteps).

    Lots of love.

In Swahili, the word “Imani” means faith.

Wonderful cartoon and story. I hope it will catch a lot of attention.

This is a great video depicting the issues people have to deal with when they don’t have the luxury of electricity. I really hope that many people share this video (it’s easy, just a few clicks!) and that the Power the World campaign is very successfull in providing sustainable energy for all!
