In the spirit of SRS Haiti, check The People’s Movement. Their story is above. Thanks to Aaron Levant for the heads up.

I work as a brand ambassador for Timberland and I just read your post: thank you for sharing this!
Did you know that Timberland does the same?We have the motto EARTHKEEPERS and we try to do our best to preserve the nature.
We produce shoes out of old tires or Latex, our factories only use as much water and electricity as needed and we replant trees in case we need them for our products.People often dont understand why our shoes are so pricey, but its because we put a lot of effort in keeping our earth and products green.
You can find more information here: http://community.timberland.com/earthkeeping
it will be a pleasure if you could comment on this 🙂

Mike!!!! I miss you so much! The concert in Hong Kong is so awesome! I was in the Block 16, row J1! Did you see me? 😀
I didn’t have chance to go to the Summit! That’s sad. I wish I could take photo with you next time on your meet & greet.

I’m so glad of this video. I’m from Indonesia and ever visited Bali. so creative and give lot of inspiration. not only in Bali, Other places in Indonesia also have the same problems and did not solve yet, it’s about rubbish especially for plastics. after watching this video, then gave me ideas about what I will do with all plastics in my places. thanks for sharing..

Hi ya Mike! Thank you for the nice mention. We love what you stand for and we would like to send you some shoes. Pick out a few eco-hip pairs and we will send them over to you bruva. Email info the to Kevin@ThePeoplesMovement.com.
…also we’d love to give away some pairs to your Facebook fans. We could do a simple “look good, do good, feel good” give away.
Thx to you and Aaron!

Wow, amazing how such an exotic place hides all that dirt and trash. I guess that’s pretty much how each country is nowadays right? I mean, tourists just get to see the white sandy beaches with the clear blue water and all that but miss the real thing.
Great way to make use of all that plastic and create this campaign, very inspiring! Thanks for sharing!

Amazing campaign. The recycling of materials is very strong in my country, we have selective collections and it helps many people and the country as well.
